In Dnipropetrovsk, activists "carried" journalists into court session room, where they were not admitted. Equipment damaged

28.04.2015, 00:24

On April 24 in Dnipropetrovsk administrative court, a clash took place, and as a result, journalists' equipment was damaged.

The court was supposed to consider the case on restoring Maksym Romanenko in capacity of the local city council secretary. The case attracted a lot of attention from mass media, but it was held in a small room, to which mass media representatives could not get, simply were not allowed, although formally no one banned presence of press. The activists who gathered there were disgruntled by this situations, they tried to break into the room, chanting "Freedom to press!". In the process of clashes, the journalists' video recording equipment was damaged.
