In Crimea, the occupation court sentenced Mykola Semena to two and a half years in prison, with suspended sentence

The court of Simferopol city, controlled by the Cremlin, sentenced the Crimean journalist, author of Radio Svoboda and Krym.Realii, Mykola Semena, to two and a half years in prison, with a probation term of three years, and a ban to conduct any public activities. This was announced by the court on September 22, Krym.Realii report. The 66-year-old journalist was accused of "appeals to violate territorial integrity of Russia".
Before, in his speech in the court, Mykola Semena said that if he is judged guilty, it will affect all journalism in Russia.
