In Crimea, police detained "Inter" journalists

22.05.2015, 21:20

On May 21, the TV channel "Inter"’s filming crew of three people as well as four pro-Ukrainian activists were detained by Russian police on the road from Simferopol to Armiansk. Everybody detained was brought to a police station in Armiansk for interrogation and search; the official reason for detaining them is "identification". All crew members had their documents on them as well as accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, yet police did not consider this sufficient for identification. The detained were released after five hours of interrogation.
