In Crimea, "community defense force" detained Polish journalist. After they checked his documents they released him

17.03.2015, 01:41

On March 14, in Simferopl the «community defense force» detained a journalist of the Polish TV channel Polsat News Tomasz Kulakowsky, took him to the local branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and released him after checking his documents, as reported by Crimea.Realia.

As the journalist himslef reported, this happened when the filming crew was recording an interview with activist Oleksander Kravchenko in the Shevchenko park in Simferopol. The activist had a yellow-and-blue ribbon, and this was, as Kulakowsky believes, the reason for detention.  According to Kulakowsky, they came to Crimea to work but they have problems with that.

In the morning of March 14, in Simferopol activist Oleksander Kravchenko was detained for having a ribbon in Ukrainian national colors.
