In Chernivtsi, vandals wrote obscenities on memorial plate to journalist

In Chernivtsi, at night on the eve of June 23, unidentified people damaged the memorial plate to the honored journalist of Ukraine Volodymyr Pelekh. This was reported by his son, journalist Vadym Pelekh, “Molodyi Bukovynets” reports.

The memorial plate located on the building was covered with obscenities in blue paint. Volodymyr Pelekh was a prominent local journalist, who died on December 11, 2006. The memorial plate to him was opened in December of 2014.

The police currently investigates the case and tries to identify the vandals.
