In Chernivtsi, security guards of trade center threatened journalist

In Chernivtsi, on May 29, a part-time photojournalist of the local TV channel “Chernivetskyi Promin” Ihor Konstantyniuk was threatened by security guards of the private security company “Tyhr” in the trade center “Prospect”. The journalist reported this to IMI representative in Chernivetska oblast.

According to him, he was in the trade center on private business, and did not even make any photos. Yet, he was approached by security guards, who threatened him with "problems in the evening". They did not answer why they threaten. When the journalist tried to take photos of them, they tried to knock the telephone from his hands.

  The journalist called police and filed an official complaint about this incident.
