In Chernivtsi, "BUKINFO" administrator visited by police

On September 18 in Chernivtsi, police officers visited the apartment of the administrator of the information portal "BukInfo", Serhiy Sarayskyi, for investigative actions. This information comes from the regional IMI representative.

The actions in question are related to complaints to the police of one of the activists in regard to threats addressed to him in the comment sections to several publications. Police wanted to get IP addresses of those, who threatened. The police wanted to read this information at the equipment in the administrator's home. The court granted an order for search in the administrator's apartment due to the case involving threats on the website. The comments in question are now not posted at the website as it was deleted by moderators earlier.
