In the evening of July 23, at 10.18 p.m. in Chernihiv, in the network of the cable operator «Osnova» the broadcasting of TV channels «1+1», «Inter», and Chernihiv oblast TV and Radio company stopped. The company explains this disconnect by damage of the fibre optic cable, which could not be repaired immediately due to late hour. "1+1" group later stated that of all cables, only their channel cable was damaged, which shows that the culprit was well aware of the structure and layout of cables.
