In Bukovyna, security guards chased away journalist from factory gates and wanted to take her camera

06.10.2015, 13:23

On October 5 in the village of Mamayivtsi, Chernivetska oblast, security guards of the enterprise formerly known as BukoFruit (now "Dohler"), a fruit processing factory,  were chasing away the journalist who interviewed those who sell apples to the factory. Journalist Halyna Markiv working for the local newspaper "Molodyi Bukovynets" tried to contact the factory administration to get inside and cover the work of the factory, but the company did not allow that. So she interviewed local businessmen selling apples to the factory. The security guards wanted to take away the journalist's camera for taking pictures near the factory gates, yet one of the apple sellers defended her.
