In the town of Kitsman in Chernivetska oblast, 12 people who called themselves «Maidan activists», threatened the editor of the local newspaper «Vilne Zhyttia» Olha Kulko and demanded that she quit her job. The local oblast branch of the Independent Media Trade Union of Ukraine informed ZIK about this.
Kulko addressed the trade union, informing them that the representatives of NGO «Maidan» grossly intervene into the editorial policy and the process of preparation of journalist materials. The NGO “Maidan” is an initiative that does not have any direct connection to the Maidan, as confirmed by the coordination council of Maidan.
