In Belarus, police detained several journalists in different cities

On October 4, in the regional centers of Belarus, police detained journalists of various editions during the March for release of political prisoners, as Ukrinform reported.

In Vitsebsk, police officers detained a correspondent with Tut.by and BelaPAN Tetyana Matveeva and photojournalist Tut.by and Narodna Volya newspaper Ales Piletsky. 

In Hrodno, police detained correspondent for Tut.by and Narodna Volya newspaper Olga Komyagina and photo correspondent for Tut.by and Narodnaya Volya Kateryna Gordeeva.

Also in Grodno, police detained local blogger Andriy Irkha.

As IMI reported, on September 29, the Ministry of Information of Belarus deprived Tut.by of the status of a mass medium for three months from October 1.
