In Bakhmut, unidentified persons stole equipment of journalists of the TV channel “Do TeBe”

On May 19, in Bakhmut (Donetska oblast) when the filming crew of the TV channel “Do TeBe” was preparing a news story unidentified people robbed them, the TV channel’s website reports.

The perpetrators stole the bag with the equipment, while the journalists were talking to community activists and local residents of building No71 on Yuvileyna Street concerning installation of a children’s playground.

According to the channel’s journalist Victoria Nasibullina, the bag contained batteries for the camera and zoom, on-camera light, and cables. The total sum of the losses is estimated to be around UAH 2 thousand.

The filming crew has already contacted police. Currently, the law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The TV channel “Do TeBe” hopes for return of the stolen equipment.
