In ATO zone, Dnipropetrovsk journalist Oleksander Chernikov died
In the ATO zone, a journalist from Dnipropetrovsk, Oleksander Chernikov, died, Dniprohrad informs.
As the media outlet describes it, one of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers, whose bodies were delivered to the city on January 27, was Oleksander Chernikov.
He died on January 23, yet they managed to evacuate the body from under shelling only on January 27. Oleksander Chernikov served in the 25th Paratrooper brigade. He worked as a cameraman at Channel 9 and in 2008 he went to military service. Oleksander left behind his young wife and 2-months old daughter, whom he saw only a couple of times when he was on leave.
