IMI started emergency hotline for journalists

IMI is launching the hotline for the journalists whose professional rights are violated, or whoneed legal advice. The number of IMI hotline: +050 447 70 63 (on days of the week and the election day). The journalists could send message to e-mail. [email protected]. IMI lawyers Roman Golovenko and Ali Safarov provide the journalists with legal advice for free. On the 31st of March 2019, this hotline will be functioning round-the-clock. All the appeals will be examined in real time. Our legal department will officially help you to defend your rights and will advise you what further steps to undertake in your case. The analytic service gathers facts of violations and file it with prominent international human rights agencies and law enforcement bodies demanding to investigate these incidents. To remind, you could freely overload a mobile application ZMIa election 2019 from Google Play (functioning on basis of Android). This device application is aimed to be a support for the journalists working during election and contains all necessarily information on rights and safety of the journalists, legislative bases and specificities of election coverage.
