NGO "Institute of Mass Information" has joined "Ukraine 5 AM" – a coalition of human rights organizations that collect and document war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during Russia's armed aggression in Ukraine.

"We hope that our joint work with the coalition will allow us to be more efficient in seeking justice for crimes against the media and journalists, including internationally. We are also interested in the top leadership of the Russian Federation and the direct perpetrators facing justice for the crimes committed by Russian state propaganda, which is one of the fundamental components of Russia's attack on Ukraine," said Oksana Romaniuk, IMI's executive director.

We remind that "Ukraine 5 AM" began its work on February 25, 2022 – the day after the new stage of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine started. New organizations are joining it constantly, many of them having vast experience in documenting international crimes and human rights violations committed in the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol city, and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts since 2014. As of now, the coalition has 32 members – Ukrainian and international public organizations.
