The Institute of Mass Information invites bloggers and civil activists to the training «Where to look for local corruption», which will be held in Kyiv on July 30-31, 2016.

The training is targeted for bloggers and civil activists, who have experience in investigating corruption schemes at the local level, participants of the project «No to corruption!», grantees of the Freedom House micro-grant program.

The training aims to build the participants’ capacity to conduct journalist investigations, to better understand how communal enterprises operate, what duties local councilmembers have to the community.

The organizers cover the housing and meals for the participants, as well as reimburse the transportation costs based on the produced tickets.

Those interested can apply by filling out the online application form

The deadline for the application is July 24, 2016. The number of available spots is limited.

The training is conducted within the framework of the project "Bloggers against corruption" with the support from Freedom House and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
