The NGO “Human rights information centre” is to rename itself. As from now, it will be named Human rights center “CHANGE” (ZMINA), as it is said on its web-site. The new logo and name were made public on March 11th. “The new appellation, identity came into sight as a result of global inward change that our team experienced. We started up in 2012 as an news center aiming to inform of human rights issues in Ukraine, to make popular the initiatives of human rights defenders. But afterwards we became aware this was insufficient simply to inform the society, one should assume responsibility and to put the changes into action”, head of the NGO Tetyana Pechonchyk told. She added the agency advocates for changes in Ukraine and to consolidate the human rights in Ukraine. “In a bid to allow to every person to feel oneself free of any fear and stereotypes, of violence and tortures”, she said.
