Hired thugs attacked journalist in Chernihiv

On November 1, in Chernihiv in Popudrenko Park, some people wearing track suits, hired thugs commonly called "titushki", were impeding the work of the local journalist, advisor for the oblast state administration Andriy Potapenko. The thugs were not letting the journalist to photograph the park, they snapped the camera from his hands and damaged the expensive equipment. Police officers, who were present on the crime scene, ignored the crime and did not intervene. When the police operatives arrived to the scene, the attackers just left – they were not detained. Police says that "the investigation is pending".
