Head of National Bank accuses press of disseminating lies about her accounts in "Delta Bank"

The Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Hontareva announced that she is outraged by accusations in the mass media about her owning accounts in “Delta Bank”. She released an official statements to that effect, Ukrainskyi Tyzhden reports.

Hontareva claims that neither she nor her family owned large accounts in "Delata Bank" (the bank that was liquidated earlier), and she is ready to sue the media outlets that claim otherwise.

Delta Bank, however, released information about the amount of a deposit of the National Bank’s head's relative, who has the same name as her, Valeria Hontareva.
