The government's computer emergency response team CERT-UA, which operates under the auspice of the State Special Communication Service, warns of a new cyber attack on Ukrainian authorities.

This time it is carried out by sending emails with the topic "Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 576/22 on unprecedented security measures."

The letters contain attachments in the form of an ISO file with an almost identical title: "Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 151 on unprecedented security measures.iso." If you open it, your computer will be affected by the Meterpreter malware.

"Experts associate such activity with hackers who have recently carried out cyber attacks on state organizations in Ukraine. In particular, they distributed dangerous emails about Mariupol-based Azovstal," the State Special Communications Service reports.

Earlier, the State Special Communications Service has warned about dangerous emails related to COVID-19 being sent from the address of one of the Ukrainian state bodies' employee, with malicious programs attached.
