Hackers demanded money from websites “Depo” and “Dilova Stolytsia” for stopping DDoS attacks

On December 19 and 20, websites of publishing group “Cartel” “Depo” ( and “Delovaya Stolitsa” ( were attacked by hackers. The criminals tried to extort money from the media outlets for stopping their DDoS attacks. Media Sapiens reports this, with reference to the release of “Cartel”.

Currently both online media outlets continue business as usual, they claim that the attacks did not disrupt the functioning of their portals.
