Group "1+1 media" claims someone scrambles signal of their channels

On April 29, TV channels of the group 1+1 media, in particular 1+1, Unian TV and PlusPlus were subjected to external intervention into satellite broadcast. During the evening broadcast, between 8.30 and 9 p.m., many viewers experienced interruption of signal reception or significant static and sound problems, even on cable TV, as most cable providers get the signal from the satellite. According to the technical monitoring conducted, the nation-wide interruption of service was caused by some external influence.
