Government issued decree for officials imposing ban on public criticism of authorities by governmental officials

Employees of the Ministries are forced to sign a decree that bans public criticism of governmental bodies and officials. “Nashi Hroshi” report about this referring to a Facebook entry by the director of the Department of Innovations and Intellectual Property in the Ministry of Economy Olena Minich.

The decree in question is the Cabinet of Ministers Decree No.65 “On approval of Rules of ethical behavior of governmental officials” approved by the government on February 11. This decree was approved in a week after the statement by Aivaras Abromovichus about his resignation due to pressure of Ihor Kononenko and the Presidential Administration.
