Gorkovenko appealed against decree of Zelensky who invalidated his appointment to the National Council

On May 27th, Volodymyr Gorkovenko filed a lawsuit to the Supreme Court against the President Volodymyr Zelensky, who revoked his appointment as a member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting. Gorkovenko wrote it on his Facebook page, as to “Detector media" . He demanded to recognize unlawful the decree signed by the President Zelensky, who invalidated the decrees of his predecessor, Petro Poroshenko, on dismissal of Yuriy Artemenko from the National Council and the appointment of Volodymyr Gorkovenko to replace him. Volodymyr Gorkovenko told that,I his opinion, "decrees can not be cancelled, even when someone really wants to." As reported by IMI, on May 4th, Yuriy Artemenko resigned as a member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting. The same day, Petro Poroshenko dismissed Artemenko from the post of member of the National Council, appointing Volodymyr Gorkovenko as a member of the National Council. On May 7th, Petro Poroshenko appointed Yuriy Artemenko as a member of the National Commission, which is public regulator agency in the field of communication and informatization. On May 24th, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky invalidated the decree on the dismissal of Yuriy Artemenko from the post of a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting and dismissed Artemenko from the position of a member of the National Commission. On May 24th, the President Volodymyr Zelensky withdrew the decree appointing Volodymyr Gorkovenko as a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
