German hoster apologized to "Glavkom" and promised not to block its materials
The German company Hetzner Online AG, which intended to block the website “Glavkom” it hosts, on demand from Roskomnadzor (Federal Service For Supervision Of Communications, Information Technology, And Mass Media) of the Russian Federation for publishing the material about the March for Federalization of Siberia, sent a letter of apology to the informational agency. This was reported by the “Glavkom”’s editor-in-chief Victor Shlinchak.
All the website’s materials have been successfully transferred to Ukrainian servers.
Hetzner Online AG admitted its staff made a mistake by setting a deadline for removal of the material in question, as Hetzner Online AG respects freedom of press and thus had no intention of practicing censorship.
