General Prosecutor's office intends to put Huzhva on international red list – Lutsenko

General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine intends to request adding to international red list of the chief editor of online media outlet “Strana.uа” Ihor Huzhva. This information was reported by the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko at his briefing on February 2, “Glavkom” informs. According to the Prosecutor General, Huzhva “fled from Ukraine when in one of the cases against him the court finished debates”. Lutsenko also mentioned that the Ukrainian party informed their colleagues in Austria that the case of Huzhva is about criminal and economic crimes, and is not political.   As IMI reported before, on January 31 chief editor of online media outlet “Strana.ua” Ihor Huzhva reported that he left the territory of Ukraine and requested political asylum in Austria. He claims that in Ukraine, in addition to five criminal cases against him, he feels that his life and freedom is in danger.
