Forbes revoked "Forbes Ukraina"'s license

15.03.2014, 23:56

The American publishing house Forbes revoked the license for publishing the Ukrainian version of the magazine "Forbes" issued to the company UMH Group, which belongs to the billionaire Serhiy Kurchenko. Kurchenko is believed to be close to the family of the ex-president Victor Yanukovych and is now subject to sanctions introduced in the U.S. in connection with the events in Ukraine. In October 2013, there was a scandal concerning the editorial office of the Ukrainian "Forbes": 13 staff members resigned complaining on censorship.
