Family of wounded camera operator demands UAH 2 million compensation from the shooter

The family of the camera operator from Kryvyi Rih Vyacheslav Volk, who was wounded during military training, demands a compensation from the culprit, Ihor Petrenko, in amount of 2 million hryvnias for moral damages, and over 100 thousand hryvnias for medical treatment, “PErshyi Miskyi” reports. On November 13, in Saksahansyi district court of Kryvyi Rih, the trial on the case of Vyacheslav Volk was supposed to continue. But the defense of the accused requested additional time for studying the documents. The session was postponed. As IMI reported before, on July 6, in Kryvyi Rih, the camera operator of online media outlet “Pershyi Kryvorizkyi” Vyacheslav was shot in the neck during military training excersizes. The police detained the suspect, Ihor Petrenko, the trainer. The prosecutor's office considers that the trainer shot the camera operator on purpose.
