"Espreso TV" presenter Yehor Checherynda joins the UAF

"Espreso TV" presenter Yehor Checherynda has announced that he is leaving the TV channel and joining the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He wrote about it on Facebook.
"Dear friends! Unfortunately, starting today I am no longer a journalist on the TV channel 'Espreso'. The war brings adjustments to the lives of each of us. The defense forces are a priority," Yehor Checherynda wrote.
He also said that he had the captain's rank.
According to "Detector Media", in the 1990s, Yehor Checherynda reported for the Radio Lux news service in Lviv. He made his debut as a TV journalist in the program "Paragraf" (MMC–Internews). He later worked in the news at STB, ICTV, 1+1. In December 2011, he became the author and host of the TV program "Okrema Dumka". After that he ran the news service on the same channel and hosted the news and analytics program "Key Points for Today". He stopped working with TVi in May 2014, and worked for "Espreso TV" in the past years.
