Editor of Ukrainian Radio's Kropyvnytsky branch dies in a car accident
The editor of Ukrainian Radio Kropyvnytsky, Nataliya Poteyeva, died in a car accident on October 15, reoprts Suspilne, citing the relatives of the deceased.
Nataliya was born in 1972 in Bushtyno village, Tyachiv district, Zakarpattia oblast. In 1994, she graduated from the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Pedagogical University of Kirovohrad and started working as an announcer in the radio department of the Kirovohrad Oblast Television and Radio Company in the same year. She later became a radio producer at the Kropyvnytsky branch of Suspilne and a producer of news programs.
She was married and had two sons.
Nataliya worked on live projects such as "Radioday", and produced thematic projects (some of them for television).
Nataliya's eldest son died in the same accident. The husband and youngest son are in intensive care. Suspilne said they would later announce the exact place and time for the funeral and the wake.
According to the rescuers, the accident occurred on the highway near the Vyshcha Kropyvna village (Haisyn district, Vinnytsia oblast). The head-on collision between two cars – a passenger car and a minibus – injured four people and killed two.
