Editor in chief of Sonya Koshkina received death threats

02.11.2017, 11:07
On October 31, editor-in-chief of Sonya Koshkina received a message with death threats as a personal message in Facebook. She reported this in her Facebook entry, publishing the screenshot of the message. “The next target after Okuyeva is you. Prepare to die, and wait for your death. Acid to your face”, the message reads. IMI tries to clarify the details of the incident. Currently, they failed to contact Koshkina to interview her about it. For the context, on October 30 in Kyivska oblast, Amina Okuyeva was killed as her car was shot at. IMI already reported before about several cases of threats and harassment against Sonya Koshkina. She thinks they were caused by her campaign against illegal development in Kyiv, in the area of  Sinnyi market.
