Due to grenade explosion near Parliament building, several journalists wounded - updated

On August 31, journalists of Channel 5 were wounded due to explosion of a combat grenade near the Verkhovna Rada. One of protesters against the Constitution amendment threw a combat grenade at the police guarding the building of the Parliament. Several dozens were wounded, including journalists that worked at the site; one police officer died.

Cameraman of TSN, channel 1+1, Dmytro Bolshakov, sustained leg injury with grenade fragments.

The cameraman of the Information Bureau “Pravyi” ("Right") Roman Malko sustained fragment wounds to both legs due to explosion of a flash grenade during the same clashes near the Parliament on August 31.

French journalist Antoine Delauney was also wounded during the clashes in Kyiv.
