"DPR" informed they found burnt body of Russian journalist Stenin near Snizhne
Representatives of the «Donetsk People’s Republic» found remains that may belong to the «missing Russian journalist», according to the so-called DPR’s vice-Minister of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the OSCE monitoring mission.
According to this unidentified DPR representative, a charred body was found by them on the road in several kilometres away from the village of Snizhne. He failed to produce any evidence that the body did belong to the citizen of Russia.
The journalist Kateryna Sergatskova, who is working in the conflict zone, commented this information on her Facebook page:
‘The DPR representatives admitted they found a burnt body of a journalist near Snizhne. Unfortunately, this is indeed the body of the RIA Novosti photo correspondent Andriy Stenin. Together with him, there were also two DPR "journalists". I was told they were attacked by fire, and then their car burned down after it was hit by a projectile. It is unknown who was firing at them. ‘
Andriy Stenin, the photo correspondent of the international informational agency ‘Russia Today’ went missing in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone on August 5.
