Donetsk People’s Republic forbids journalists to work in combat area

24.07.2014, 16:23

The leader of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People’s Republic" issued a ban for journalists to work in the territory controlled by the terrorists in the combat area. This was reported in the statement by the DPR’s press service with the reference to the so-called Minister of Defense Ihor Girkin (a.k.a. Strelkov).

According to his order, it is forbidden to journalists, TV operators, and photo correspondents to make photos, record audio or video during the hostilities in the combat area and on the territory in the vicinity of military assets.
