Donetsk journalist Oleksander Kuchynskyi and his wife murdered by their driver

The murder of the editor-in-chief of Donetsk newspaper "Ekspres-kriminal", 47-year-old Oleksander Kuchynskyi, was solved: the journalist and his wife were chopped to death with an axe by his former driver and assistant. Slovyansk city court passed an arrest warrant for the subject, who is currently at large. The murder occurred on November 26, 2014. The driver using the trust of his unfortunate employer wanted to steal a large amount of money that was in the apartment he had access to. During the investigation it became known that after the murder the driver joined a gang of separatists and was participating in hostilities against Ukrainian soldiers.
