Dnipropetrovsk journalists could not get to court session

On January 19, in Dnipropetrovsk mass media representatives were not able to get to a court session of the Court of Appeal of Dnipropetrovska oblast, as the regional IMI correspondent working at the location learned. The journalists planned to cover the case on compensation to the Maidan activists who were illegally detained on January 26, 2014, and against whom groundless criminal cases were opened. The court session was announced to begin at 11:50, yet actually started at 11:30. So only those mass media representatives, who arrived 20 minutes before the announced time, were able to attend. As to the rest of them, the judges did not allow them to enter.
