Dnipropetrovsk journalist sues Social Insurance Foundation for refusal to provide information

On November 27, the journalist of Dnipropetrovsk newspaper «Horozhanyn», Olha Yudina, filed two claims to the Dnipropetrovsk district administrative court concerning refusal to provide information by Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Social Insurance Foundation in response to her request. She informed the regional IMI correspondent about this.

Yudina conducted an investigation under the journalist investigation program Objective. She wrote about abuses of the Foundation’s officials in the process of tenders for recreation of children. Yet the Foundation did not provide much of information requested by her (she requested tender proposals details). Now she will try to get these documents through the court.

One of the claims will be considered by the court in absentia, the judgment will be made within 10 days.
