Dnipropetrovsk blogger sues channel "Russia -1" for copyright infringement
On February 24, Vyacheslav Poyizdnyk, blogger from Dnipropetrovsk, filed a claim with Industrialny district court of Dnipropetrovsk demanding compensation from the TV channel “Russia-1” in the amount over 24 thousand hryvnias for copyright infringement.
As it appears, his video records were used by about 20 channels promoting Russian news on YouTube. One of them, in response to his complaint to the YouTube administration, filed a complaint against him, claiming he wrongfully accused the channel. As a result, the blogger decided to bring the case to the court. The author also said that he is considering filing claims against some Ukrainian TV channel, in particular Channel 5, who use his videos without the author's consent.
