Digital TV transmitters set in southern Kherson
Digital TV transmitters are going to be installed in the upcoming months at Skadovsk and Lazurne. Serhiy Kostynsky, member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, told during the briefing, UNN reports.
"In short time, we will implement the digital television in southern Kherson region. There is a plan to install transmitters in Skadovsk and Lazurne, in order to cut transmitting from Krasnoperekopsk and cover the the border. TV channel at Chaplinka increases the coverage of digital TV, from Chongar we expect to cover large part of the north of the Crimea peninsula with Ukrainian TV,"- he said.
Recall, the Deputy Minister of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine Georgy Tuka said that currently Chongar tower is working in a testing mode in order to check configurations of equipment.
Recently channel "Kherson plus" within the "Mezha" project created a TV show about displays of informational war in the south of Ukraine, in particular, were raised issues of absence of Ukrainian media signal in several areas of Kherson.
