Crimean Tatar radio "Meidan" ceases operation in Crimea

In Crimea, the only one in the world Crimean Tatar radio station "Meidan" ceases to work, as Russian authorities denied its registration and it had to broadcast in online. QHA was told about this by chief editor of the radio station Asan Khairetdinov. According to him, all database of the radio will be transferred to Kyiv, and the radio will continue broadcasting from there. The staff was disbanded, yet the people do not want to move to Kyiv to retain their jobs, although they were offered this option.
