Crimean court arrested property of Chornomorska TV and Radio Company

The Chornomorska TV and Radio Company’s property is being distrained under the decision of the Economic court of the Republic of Crimea. This was reported by the vice-Minister of Communications of Crimea Serhiy Dotsenko. The court decision was approved in the lawsuit of the Crimean Radio and Television Transmitting Center to recover arrears in payment for the services rendered. According to Dotsenko, the Chornomorska TV and Radio Company owes the transmitting center about 4 million roubles. It will receive its property back as soon as it settles its arrears; otherwise, its property will be sold to compensate the debt.

The Chornomorska TV and Radio Company has been cut off the air since the beginning of March; its frequency is used for broadcasting Russian TV channels.
