Crimean Channel received state funding

The Crimean Tatar channel ATR began to receive funding from the state budget of Ukraine. Lenur Isliamov the owner of the channel told that money has already been transferred to the account of the TV channel, Crimea.Realities reports.


“We are starting to get funding. Until the end of the year, we will purchase the missing equipment for the Studio and pay the debt for the satellite,” Isliamov said.


Earlier, Lenur Isliamov expressed doubt that channel will be able to obtain and implement government funding.



On November 17 the Verkhovna Rada from the second attempt has allocated money for the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR. 

On December 7 the Cabinet of Ministers approved the allocation of funds for the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR.
