Court that considers case of Veremiy’s murder, decided to conduct court session without witnesses

19.12.2014, 11:25

Shevchenkivskyi rayon court of Kyiv decided to conduct the court session on the well-known case of murder of the “Vesti” journalist Vyacheslav Veremiy in a closed mode, without journalists and activists who wanted to be at the session. The judge of the case, Oleh Lynnyk, ignored the lawyer’s request to make it closed only in the part which can, at the prosecutor’s opinion, hurt the investigation. For this reason, the lawyer plans to file a request to change the judge.
Before, on December 8, the Minister of Internal Affairs Avakov said that all suspects in the case are detained, including Krysin, who shot the journalist on video record.
