Court revoked licenses of Lounge FM and Radio Next

On April 18th, the Appeal administrative court discharged the complaint filed by the company "Pilot Ukraine” (group to which belong UMX Lounge FM and Radio Next), upholding the judicial decision of the court of law in the first instance. Thus, the decision of the National council on television and radio broadcasting requiring to revoke the license for broadcasting of these radio stations has been upheld, as to the National regulator's web-site. The National council sought legal redress because the radio stations had failed to be in compliance with the law as to the transparency structure of ownership and failed to file in due time the application to re-issue license.
