On April 6, Boryspil city district court of Kyivska oblast released two men that had beaten the former journalist and activist, and now MP with "People's Front" Tetiana Chornovol during EuroMaidan – Roman Zaliubovskyi and Serhiy Kotenko.
According to Chornovol's attorney, maximal punishment for such crimes is five years in prison. The court sentenced Kotenko to 1 year, 3 months and 10 days in prison, and to Zaliubovskyi, the amnesty law as of 2014 was applied, and both were released immediately.
