17.04.2019, 18:28
The Kyiv district court in Simferopol (Crimea) has restricted the time available for reading the criminal case papers for Crimean Tatar blogger Nariman Memedeminov, as to “Crimea. Reality”. The prosecution filed such a solicitation, asking to put a deadline of April 19th. IMI informed the judge prolonged the arrest of Nariman Memedeminov, civil journalist and blogger, who is charged with “propaganda of terrorism”. He is to be imprisoned until March 16th, as to “Crimea. Reality”. IMI informed earlier that on March 22, 2018 the law enforcement bodies of Russia detained in Symferopol the Tatar activist and blogger Memedeminov on charge of public appeals through the internet to commit terroristic acts.
