Court left under house arrest NTV journalist suspected of spying

The Court of Appeals of Dnipropetrovsk left Stepan Chyrych, NTV journalist with Belarus citizenship, under house arrest.

The journalist’s appeal to withdraw from criminal prosecution on his case was also not satisfied. Chyrych is accused of spying, as during the search, in his notebook, secret military information on Ukrainian defense system was found, along with mini-camera built into his glasses.
