Court in Crimea prolonged arrest of Memedeminov till March 16th

Photo Anton Naumlyuk, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty The Kyiv district court in Symferopol prolonged the arrest of Nariman Memedeminov, civil journalist and blogger, who is charged with “propaganda of terrorism”. He is to be imprisoned until March 16th, as to "Crimea. Reality" The investigator and the prosecutor said Memedeminov could “escape to Ukraine, that’s why one should prolong his arrest. IMI informed earlier that on March 22, 2018 the law enforcement bodies of Russia detained in Symferopol the Tatar activist and blogger Memedeminov on charge of public appeals through the internet to commit terroristic acts.
