Construction of FM tower in Chongar is over

Chongar, Kherson, The construction of FM station height of 150 meters, which will provide broadcasting to occupied Crimea is over. Serhiy Kostynsky, member of the National Council on Television and Radio, wrote it on Facebook, Week reports.

According to him, at this moment there are workings on installation of equipment. FM tower will start to deliver Ukrainian radio signal to the Crimea. This refers to the first Ukrainian Radio channel, Meydan, Radio Krym.Realii, Kherson FM.

Kostynsky said that the next stage - an organization of digital television.
"The construction of the tower took about two months. The rest of the time, about 9 months, took the work of rendering and international coordination of radio frequencies, allotment of land and conction of competition for radio frequency "- Kostynsky wrote.

Recall that so-called Minister of internal policy, information and communication of russian annexed Crimea Dmytro Polonsky said that Ukrainian broadcasting will be terminated in the Crimea. He said that "authority" of the Crimea has enough technical equipment for jamming broadcasting which "is not permitted by Russian law".

However, a member of the National Council Serhiy Kostynsky assured that the occupiers will not be able to stifle Ukrainian broadcasting from the new FM tower.
