Constitutional Court to verify constitutionality of parliament’s resolution on sanctions against TV channels

On June 20, at 10.00 a.m., the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court is going to consider the issue of the constitutionality of the parliament's resolution on the imposition of sanctions on a number of TV channels in Ukraine, as the Ukrianian national novyny reported. The case has been instituted based on the constitutional petition of 49 MPs who requested the information as to the resolution "On approving proposals for the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) " dated of October 4, 2018, No. 2589-VIII. It is question of applying of some special economic and other restrictive measures to the following TV channels: LLC Ariadna TV, "New TV format", "TV Choice" , "112-TV", "Leader TV", "Partner TV", "News 24 hours".
